Prayer Answered on Bonaire
TWR (Trans World Radio) is pleased to announce that their ministry across the Caribbean and South America is to continue unaffected during the repair of their transmission towers on the island of Bonaire.
The essential repair work has only been able to begin thanks to the prayerful and financial support shown by listeners around the world.
Due to the harsh, salty environment of the island, parts of the transmission towers had rusted extensively and had to be replaced. The cost of replacing the towers would be over £600,000, so the team on Bonaire were keen to replace the individual braces, at a tenth of that cost, before the situation worsened. The transmission towers help the station broadcast across a vast area covering Brazil, Venezuela, Guyana and Cuba.
Joe Barker, General Manager of TWR-Bonaire, said of this answer to prayer, “We’re really thankful for God’s provision through His generous people who are helping to make this broadcasting facility strong into the future, for the sake of the kingdom.” |
