This Christmas we remember the humility of Christ as He came to earth to redeem and save mankind. He didn’t come with pomp and splendour but quietly entered the world as a baby born in a manger.
On his arrival, a host of Angels declared to the shepherds, “Glory to God in the highest heaven, and on earth peace, goodwill toward men.” – Luke 2:14
A Saviour was born, one who had come to serve and ultimately give his life as a ransom for many. The death and resurrection of Jesus meant that men and women from every people group, tribe and tongue could now have an opportunity to be forgiven and restored to right relationship with God.
Jesus told us, “This gospel of the kingdom will be preached in all the world as a witness to all the nations, and then the end will come.” – Matthew 24:14
Over the next few weeks of advent TWR will be journeying in prayer as we remember some of the 300+ people groups we are reaching with the gospel. Every day you’ll get information about a new people group, including ways TWR works with them and an opportunity to partner in prayer for the work.
