Here at TWR, we continue to receive reports of God using radio and the internet across the globe, to bring unforeseen good in a world turned upside down by COVID-19.
We’d love to share with you a testimony from a woman named Ana*, who wrote to our partner in Guatemala, Radio Cultural TGN.
“For some time, I could not listen to you as much as I would like, but thank God I discovered your website and now I don’t miss any programmes,” she wrote.
As with many countries all over the world, life in this Central American country changed drastically in 2020 as the coronavirus disrupted nearly everything, from human interaction to jobs to health care to church meetings. But instead of letting the lockdowns isolate them, Ana and her friends focused on the classic Thru the Bible teaching programmes and turned these strange days into a period of triumph.
“I want to testify to you that the studies have been a great blessing to many women in different congregations during quarantine,” Ana said. “We have begun to carry out the studies with a group of ladies through Zoom. We started with approximately 10, and now there are around 35 of us.”
She said the sisters participate from different parts of Guatemala and the United States. Testimonies have been shared about the spiritual help some of the participants have received through these studies.
“May God continue to use you and fill you with wisdom, and continue guiding us with your biblical knowledge,” Ana wrote to the Thru the Bible team.
